Hey everyone and welcome to the first edition of Kassy's makeup lessons.

So the first thing everyone has to know, as I said before, is that there is no such thing as rules in makeup. You can do whatever you want with it because it's a very great and easy way to express yourself.

The second thing you need to know is that practice makes perfect. No one is going to do a great job at blending the first time. No one is going to do a perfect cut crease the first time they try. You just have to be patient and practice as often as you can.

On to the actual lesson..

Lesson one: Color

Color is my very favorite part of doing makeup looks. Whether it is for your lips, cheeks or your eyes (my favorite) color can do amazing things for your face and your look. Most people like to stick to golds, bronzes and other neutral colors for the looks they wear everyday, but you can definitely try something more bold and more colorful. It all depends on your personality and comfort level with them. Let's take a look at some different eyeshadow looks involving color.

Neutral look:



As you can see here, the wearer has a light shimmery brown look in her lid and then a darker color in the crease of her eye. It is helpful to put a darker color in the crease of your eye (No matter what colors you're using) because it gives your eye definition.



You can see in this one that it is a bit bolder. It has a golder tint to it and the crease is darker. You can also see purple and blue on the bottom lash line to add a little bit of color to this. Both of these are very good and acceptable ideas for an everyday look if you're looking for a more easy going, not so eye-catching appearance.
